DAY BY DAY TOUR

DAY 1

ARRIVAL IN MADAGASCAR

Tongasoa ! when you arrive at the international airport of Ivato (TNR ) , one of our team will be warmly greeted you with a sign under your name .
After welcoming, we will drive to our hotel in town and give you a special briefing of our upcoming trip and answer questions you may have if time permits, otherwise tomorrow before while you take breakfast.

DAY 2

ANTANANARIVO – PALMARIUM

After breakfast, we will drive to our first wildlife destination, the Palmarium reserve, with some stops on the way, we will get to the small port of Manambato from 4 Pm and have a boat transfer to the hotel for about an hour , niched in the heart of Vohibola Reserve. Please note that: Electricity here is not 24/7, only from 6-11 pm for the evening and 5 am to 7 am for the morning but the restaurant has 24/7 electricity where you can charge your devices

DAY 3

EXPLORE THE PALMARIUM RESERVE

During your visit to Ankanin’ny nofy, you will have a full day to explore the reserve, which is renowned as one of the top attractions along the Pangalanes canal. Situated on a 35-hectare peninsula by Lake Ampitabe, the reserve is bordered by a narrow strip of coastal dunes separating it from the Indian Ocean. Within the reserve, ten species of lemurs roam freely, alongside reptiles, amphibians, and occasional crocodiles. Visitors can observe various lemurs such as Indri Indri, mouse lemurs, crowned lemurs, and the rare and elusive Aye-Aye. At 5:30 pm, you will have the unique opportunity to encounter the largest nocturnal lemurs, the Aye-Aye, in their natural habitat. This reserve is one of the few places where you can witness these extraordinary creatures in the wild. DAY 4

PALMARIUM – ANDASIBE

After an early breakfast, we will cruise back and drive until Andasibe. Green forests and typical Malagasy eastern villages are on the agenda. We will have our lunch on the way. Upon arrival, we will check in to our hotel and relax until the night safari to meet the night active wildlife including the smallest lemur and reptiles such as Chameleon and snakes. Back to our hotel after an hour or an hour and half of walk.

DAY 5

EXPLORE ANDASIBE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we will explore the famous Andasibe National Park , to meet the largest in lemur species known as Indri and many other species of lemur , without missing our birds , reptiles , we will be able to see some our orchids and palm , we will spend about 4 hours here . Back to the hotel for lunch and explore to Vakona to meet more species including the bamboo lemurs, Black and white ruffed lemurs and so one to end our journey.

DAY 6

ANDASIBE – ANTSIRABE

After breakfast, we will drive to the highland until the beautiful city of Antsirabe. With some stops on the way,we will get there around 4 pm . Upon arrival,we will check in into our hotel and relax . If time allow us , we will have a short city tour to explore the town.

DAY 7

ANTSIRABE – RANOMAFANA

In the morning, we’ll drive 6 hours to Ranomafana National Park, passing through the Betsileo tribe’s region. We’ll stop in Ambositra, known for its sculptures, visit a workshop, and then head to the park. Ranomafana, a tropical rainforest wonder, is home to unique wildlife like the Golden bamboo lemur. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel and go on a night safari to see lemurs, reptiles, and birds.

DAY 8

RANOMAFANA NATIONAL PARK – AMBALAVAO

We will begin the day with the diurnal visit. We will spend between three to four hours in the Ranomafana Park and visit the Namorona waterfall. We will also have the opportunity to witness the spectacular flora such as orchids and the wildlife unique to this region including the Greater bamboo lemur, chameleon, wild birds and others. “Ranomafana” directly translates into “warm water” and it was named after the hot spring unique to this region. In the afternoon, after lunch, we will drive into the Wine valley, where we will meet the most famous in lemur species , the Ring tailed lemur . Upon arrival, check in to our hotel and relax

DAY 9

AMBALAVAO - ISALO

Today after breakfast, we will enjoy a few hours at the Anja Community reserve, natural home of the Ring tailed lemur . Here we will have a choose between easy path at the low part of the reserve or take the hard path to reach the top of the reserve, another way to experience the it. Drive to reach our destination of today for further lemur experience. Upon arrival, check in to our hotel and relax.

DAY 10

EXPLORE THE ISALO NATIONAL PARK

Today we will spend about four – five hours discovering the famous part of Isalo Park, from the Namaza Canyon to the Blue natural pool. Isalo is special not only because of this Jurassic landscape but also the unique wildlife and it is the home of the lemur catta or Maki, Sifaka, wild birds and various reptiles. We will have a lunch inside of the park, we will start hike back to our hotel and relax Before the evening, we will have a beautiful sunset experience at the “ Window of Isalo “.

DAY 11

ISALO – TOLIARA

Today, we will drive until the famous the south beach destination called Ifaty. On our drive we will pass through Ilakaka, the region that has the most sapphire in Madagascar. Malagasy sapphire is the highest quality sapphire found in the world. Many Malagasy people from different regions come here to work, that make us to remember the “Farwest curiosity” . On our drive we will stop at the Zombitse National Park, explore the park for about 2-3 Hours to explore more wildlife experience . We’ll be in Toliara from the middle of the afternoon, directly to our hotel in Ifaty. Check in to our beachfront hotel and relax

DAY 12

IFATY - TOLIARA – FLY BACK TO ANTANANARIVO

After breakfast, we will have a transfer to the airport for a domestic flight back to the capital. Upon arrival, we will check in to our hotel and relax before flying to our next adventure destination.

DAY 13

ANTANANARIVO – ANTSIRANANA

Drive to the airport for Antsiranana from an early morning, upon arrival in Antsiranana , one of our team will welcome you with a sign under your name , we will drive and check in to your hotel , we will start our journey to explore the beautiful French Mountain reserve, where we will one of the endemic baobab species of the island known as Andasonia Suarenzis. Where we will also reach the peak to enjoy the beauty of this second largest bay in the world after Rio de Janeiro . We will drive back after have a short walk to explore the town of Antsiranana.

DAY 14

EXPLORE THE EMERALD BAY

Today, we will explore the famous Emerald bay , one of the most beautiful tourist sites on the north of the island is aptly named with its beautifully colored waters. Located on the entrance of the bay Diego Suarez . Here you can either do snorkeling, swimming, or simply relaxing are among the interesting leisure activities. If you are looking a sea sport , kitesurfing and windsurfing are available here too. Only recommended between May to October by the “Varatraza”, a wind from east trade winds .Here, we will have a picnic lunch based on seafood prepared by our team. We will sail back from the middle of afternoon

DAY 15

ANTSIRANANA – AMBER MOUNTAIN

After breakfast , we will drive and explore the the first national park of the island ,quite and natural home of 75 bird species, 25 mammal species, and almost 60 reptile and 25 amphibian species. The park is decorated by a beautiful waterfall , volcanic lakes , a true paradise for rare animals and plants that occur exclusively here and nowhere else. We will spend about 4-5 hours here . Back to our hotel after the visit and relax.

DAY 16

AMBER MOUNTAIN – DARAINA

After breakfast , we will drive to our next destination by exploring the famous mona lisa of the north ,the Red Tsingy. We will spend an hour about to enjoy this natural land formation before heading to the Daraina Reserve, Daraina Reserve is the last small deciduous forest where the endangered Golden-crowned Sifakas (Propithecus Tattersalli) live freely , this is one of the rarest of all lemur list as one of 25 most threatened primates in the world. Daraina reserve is only one place can find that Sifakas’s species and no where else in Madagascar. Upon arrival , check in to our hotel and have a short night walk for more wildlife experience .

DAY 17

DARAINA – ANKARANA

After breakfast , we will have diurnal visit to explore the reserve for about 3 hours, home of several endemic wildlife such as lemurs, reptiles , birds. Here we might see the largest carnivore of the island known as Fosa. We will drive to Ankarana after the visit, with some stops, we will get there from the middle of thr afternoon.

DAY 18

ANKARANA

We will dedicate today to explore the rock sone forest of the Ankarana National Park . Scientifically, tsingy are erosions called lapiaz, which have resulted from rock metamorphosis caused by atmospheric pressure and variations in the earth’s temperature. The tsingy, sacred lake, path botany, canyons and sinkholes, caves of stalactites and stalagmites, bats and crocodiles , make it unique. It constitutes the biggest underground network in Africa . Back to our hotel after the visit and relax before our next destination.

DAY 19

ANKARANA – ANKIFY – NOSY BE

After breakfast we will drive to Ankify for your next destination Nosy be . Boat transfer to the perfume island. Upon arrival , one of our team will welcome you and drive to your hotel. Check in and relax

DAY 20

EXPLORE LOKOBE RESERVE

Today , we will explore the Lokobe reserve to meet its unique wildlife including lemurs, reptiles and birds. It is one of the few places on the island where you can still see the Sambirano forest in its original state. For about two – three hours , we will start our day to take a traditional local canoe to reach the starting point of the trail. Back to our hotel after the visit and relax

DAY 21

NOSY BE ISLAND

Enjoy your free day *************You can either explore the Island of Tanikely , Sakatia or whatever activities you wish to do

DAY 22

FLY TO ANTANANARIVO

After breakfast, we will have a morning transfer back to Antananarivo. upon arrival in the capital , one of our team will welcome you with a sign under your name , we will drive and check in to your hotel in town.

DAY 23

FLY OUT OF THE COUNTRY

After breakfast, we will explore the best historical site of the capital , from the Queen’s Palace to the former largest open market of Africa , known as Zoma Market. By your request , we will end our visit to explore the best souvenir shop of the city. Enjoy your free hour at your hotel before your departure . Our driver will pick you up 3.30 hours before your international flight transfer.
