Madagascar offer so many type of trips, our ultimate packing list should be used as a guide only and is not intended to be a complete packing list to suit every trip. What you bring will vary according to type of tours, the destination you’re visiting and the time of year and the weather when you’re travelling. Please check the list on the bottom of your chosen tours, which will detail any specific requirements for your trip and is tailored to suit your needs.

Travel documents

    For a stay less than 15 days , you only pay the airport fees which is about $ 11 per person
    For a stay less than 30 days , you will have to pay $ 21 per person
    For a stay between 31 days – 60 days , you will have to pay $ 26 per person
    For a stay between 61 days – 90 days , you will have to pay $ 35 per person

Luggage

International check-in and cabine luggages are mentioned on your ticket

Madagascar local airlines only allow you to check-in 21 Kg of luggage per person and 5 kg per person of Cabine bag

Most travellers use a small, wheeled suitcase although the type of luggage most suitable will vary depending on your trip and destination.

Note: Please ensure you bring a breathable rain jacket if you are travelling to Madagascar between November and April where the climate is usally hot and rainy.
