OVERVIEW

This tour will allow you to have the opportunities to explore the main highlights in the East and West of Madagascar. Including the unique Eastern reserve known as Palmarium where you can the most endangered known as Aye Aye up close. We will also able to see the largest in lemur from the reserve and the Andasibe National Park, we will then go the West to explore the the famous Rock Stone forest of the Tsingy of Bemaraha, the Baobab avenue and the reserve of Kirindy , home of the largest carnivore of the island known as Fosa. Local fresh food will fill you up in every day of our destination.

DAY BY DAY TOUR

DAY 1

ARRIVAL IN MADAGASCAR

Tongasoa ! when you arrive at the international airport of Ivato (TNR ) , one of our team will be warmly greeted you with a sign under your name . After welcoming, we will drive to our hotel in town and give you a special briefing of our upcoming trip and answer questions you may have if time permits, otherwise tomorrow before while you take breakfast.

DAY 2

ANTANANARIVO – PALMARIUM

After breakfast, we will drive to our first wildlife destination, the Palmarium reserve, with some stops on the way, we will get to the small port of Manambato from 4 Pm and have a boat transfer to the hotel for about an hour , niched in the heart of Vohibola Reserve. Please note that: Electricity here is not 24/7, only from 6-11 pm for the evening and 5 am to 7 am for the morning but the restaurant has 24/7 electricity

DAY 3

EXPLORE THE PALMARIUM RESERVE

You will have full day exploring Ankanin’ny nofy. All factors that have made the reserve to one of the most popular visits in the Pangalanes canal. Located on a peninsula of about 35 ha, on the shores of Lake Ampitabe. This is separated from the Indian Ocean by a mere line of very thin coastal dunes, that sometimes are a few meters width only. Ten species of lemurs live in freedom in the reserve, as well as reptiles, amphibians and by chance crocodiles.Visitors can watch Indri Indri, mouse and crowned lemurs and especially the shy and extraordinary endangered Aye Aye. From 5.30 pm, you will have a night to meet the largest nocturnal lemurs known as Aye Aye , a very rare and extraodinary species . This is because this is one of the very few places where you could find them in their wild habitat. DAY 4

PALMARIUM – ANDASIBE

After an early breakfast, we will cruise back and drive until Andasibe. Green forests and typical Malagasy eastern villages are on the agenda. We will have our lunch on the way. Upon arrival , we will check in to our hotel and relax until the night safari to meet the night active wildlife including the smallest lemur and reptiles such as Chameleon and snakes. Back to our hotel after an hour or an hour and half of walk.

DAY 5

FULL DAY TO EXPLORE ANDASIBE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, we will explore the famous Andasibe National Park , to meet the largest in lemur species known as Indri and many other species of lemur , without missing our birds , reptiles , we will be able to see some our orchids and palm , we will spend about 4 hours here . Back to the hotel for lunch and explore to Vakona to meet more species including the bamboo lemurs , Black and white ruffed lemurs and so one to end our journey.

DAY 6

ANDASIBE – ANTSIRABE

After breakfast, we will drive back to the highland until Antsirabe. Through the mountain range of Ankaratra . We will have our lunch on the way. We will reach the water city from the beginning of the evening, check in to our hotel and have a short walking tour ,we will explore and understand the story of this beautiful Norwegian founded town

DAY 7

ANTSIRABE - MORONDAVA

We will drive very early to reach the West part of Madagascar. We will drive through the green field and valley of the central west until the dry savannah until Morondava. With some stop on the way, we will get to the baobab avenue from 5 pm. Check in to our hotel after the visit and relax

DAY 8

MORONDAVA - BEKOPAKA

After breakfast, we will embark to the off beaten road up to the North part. We will across two rivers by ferry to get there . With some stop on the way, we will get there at the middle of the afternoon. Check in to our hotel and enjoy some rest before the hiking tomorrow.

DAY 9

FULL DAY TO EXPLORE THE TSINGY OF BEMARAHA

Today we will spend the day in nature discovering the Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park. Bemaraha Tsingy is classified as a UNESCO world heritage site and the biggest protected area in Madagascar . At the Tsingy we will see he cathedral, the “view point”, the hanging bridge and experience the animals that live here, such as Sifaka lemur and Common brown lemur. We will also see wild birds and by chance the biggest carnivore in Madagascar called Fossa. We will also see different kinds of endemic plants such as the “palissandre” and “Ebony”. Back to our hotel and relax

DAY 10

FULL DAY TO EXPLORE THE SMALL TSINGY AND GORGE OF MANAMBOLO

Today, we will embark on a local canoe to visit the beautiful Throat of Manambolo river by visiting some caves,the First inhabitant of Madagascar tombs the small section of the national park . We will spend for around four hours here , back to our lodge after the visit and relax.

DAY 11

BEKOPAKA – KIRINDY

After breakfast, we will drive back to the South part, Upon arrival,check in at our hotel and relax until the beginning of the evening,for a night walk . During the visit,by chance, we might see the largest carnivore of the island, known as Fosa and some species of nocturnal lemur like Avahi,mouse lemur,the fat tailed sportive lemur, and some another species of reptiles and bird which are active in the nigh. After the visit,we drive back to our hotel

DAY 12

KIRINDY – MORONDAVA

After breakfast,we drive to the reserve for a diurnal visit,to spot two species endemic species of this region such as red fronted brown lemur and the Coquerel’s Sifaka,the visit will be about 1-2 hours,after that, we will drive to explore the in love and sacred baobab, we will lunch in Morondava and have a free afternoon and drive back to the baobab avenue for one more baobab avenue experience. Back to our hotel after the visit .

DAY 13

MORONDAVA – ANTANANARIVO

We will have an early morning sunrise experience at the baobab avenue, another way to experience this natural beauty. Back to our hotel for breakfast and getting ready for your flight back to Antananarivo . Upon arrival , one of our team will be warmly greeted you with a sign under your name . Drive to your hotel and have a short city tour at the old town of the capital, including the Queen’s Palace and end it to the local market of Anjoma, used to the largest open market in Africa. Back to our hotel and relax

DAY 14

FLY OUT OF MADAGASCAR

Free morning but by your request , you have a short explore of the best souvenir shop of the city. Enjoy your free hour at your hotel before your departure . Our driver will pick you up 3.30 hours before your international flight transfer.
